Hello Dear One,
It seems ages since I wrote to you. I’ve missed it. This letter keeps me grounded, keeps me thinking and keeps me accountable. Quite the thing, isn’t it?
I have lots to share from my time away: lessons, very vulnerable moments and breakthroughs. Today, I want to ease us both back in with a simple practice which I offer at the start of every workshop – every time it gives me something new.
If you haven’t written for a while, consider this a loving nudge toward your notebook. If you journal regularly keep an open mind. You can uncover a lot in ten minutes – even noticing how much you might be scripting, or expecting to be true, is worthwhile.
Today, my supports are going to a yoga class and cuddling my dog. Simple things – even giving myself the permission to stand still for a while – really matter.
Talking of workshops I have a special one coming up on Thursday 22nd of September (free for members). It’s designed to help us ground, celebrate how far we’ve and envision what we’d love out of the rest of 2022. All you need is a cosy, quiet space, a lovely relaxing playlist is included – it would be gorgeous to see you there.
In the meantime here’s something I know: you’re probably being too hard on yourself. Breathe. Ground. Let yourself be a living, feeling person, who sometimes gets things wrong. And give that beautiful soul as much love as you can.
Thanks for being here and being you.
All love,
Jo
Join me for ninety minutes of nourishing writing on Thursday 22nd September. It would be beautiful to see you there.
AND FINALLY
I saw the band Spell Songs at the weekend and would like to pay them to sing me to sleep. Here’s a tune I love.
It’s good to have you and your calming words back!
