Hello Dear One,
How are you? In your mind, body and heart? Are you dropping in? It’s easy not to – to keep going and going and label time for you as a luxury.
Recently, I’ve had big resistance to writing; something I’ll share more about soon. There’s a lot of change and flux in my life: I’m excited and anxious and deflated and hopeful. When we need our self-care practices most we can often avoid them.
I can still be guilty of rushing myself through things – not letting myself feel what I feel – despite knowing and teaching the opposite.
Yesterday I sat myself down and wrote out everything I was worrying about. I looked at the list and thought – what would be the opposite? What could be the absolute best thing to happen? Instantly, something began to shift. Even if I might not fully believe wonderful things were on the way I could imagine a light alternative to darker fears.
I hope it helps. I hope your week is full of better and best-case scenarios, or simply feeling good. I hope it for myself too.
Thanks for being here and being you.
All love,
Jo
