Hello Dear One,
Today I run the end of month workshop for my membership, releasing what we no longer need and setting meaningful intentions for the new month. Last week I wrote out and burned the stubborn stories I carry about what’s possible for me, replacing them with kinder and more realistic ones. These patterns are stubborn and changing them takes time – it’s easy to become frustrated when we find ourselves in a loop, yet we are never going backwards. Holding the intention to let something go is a powerful thing.
We’re not really conditioned to think this way, that we just have to keep showing up for ourselves – noticing what does and doesn’t feel good. Yet, when I look at my journals, at the space I’ve given myself to be messy and imperfect, at the way I’m there for myself again and again and again, I find it beautiful.
I hope it helps. If it’s a belief or story about myself I’m changing I write a new one, but it has to feel authentic – we don’t go from feeling not enough to wonderful overnight.
If you’re feeling resistant to journaling or would like a nurturing space of support, come into my membership, or stay tuned for news of drop-in workshops to come.
Thanks for being here and being you.
All love,
Jo
