Hello Dear One,
Happy November.
I’m up in the mountains on the West Coast of Scotland working on my novel with a friend who’s working on hers. It’s a beautiful time of year to be here, despite the lashing rain. I love autumn because of its warmth – somehow, although we’re sliding into winter, it never feels sad to me.
This week I’m bringing beautiful prompts which you can ask yourself at the start of any month. At this time of year things can start to feel busy and frenetic, so take time to sit with yourself. Be intentional.
When I worked as a teacher, November seemed like a long, horrible month: it’s a narrative that sticks around somewhere in the background. But that’s not what I’m calling in: instead, I choose fun, creativity and opportunities for connection. No matter your circumstances there are ways to find joy.
Thanks for being here and being you.
All love,
Jo
